During the gadget explosion of the late 70s and early 80s, you
could own a simple four function, 8-digit calculator from a
myriad of companies for very little money. But why a basic
calculator, when you can have one that plays music, or allows you
to make music. One that can used as a travel alarm, or convert
currency on holiday. Or even one with a challenging game to help
pass time at the dentist's office. It's more fun than reading
that April 1984 issue of Highlights magazine that's been there
since your last 6 month check-up.
Please enjoy your tour of a bevy of post-LED generation
calculators from your friends at Pocket Calculator Show. And if
you have an unusual LCD calculator to add to our museum, please
send us a pic!
